We went to Disney in Orlando in October and on our last day, on our way out of the park, I got the children's silhouettes done. I LOVE them, but didn't like the old-fashioned packaging/cards, picture frames that they offered. Figured I could find something to do with them. So I came up with this. First time playing with Modge Podge and I loved every minute of it!!
I used stretched canvas, put fabric over the boys, and scrapbook paper over Allie's as the backing. Then using my "fun" scissors as I call them, I used a different pair to cut out each silhouette.

They are definitely busy, not vintage looking, which is what I wanted. I think I like them! .And BTW, the lady that cut these amazed me!!!
One last side note--Aunt Sharon brought me a TON of fantastic fabric on Monday. I now have THREE generations of fabric and accessories!!! I'm seriously in heaven. All I wanted to do yesterday was organize and play, but mommy/wife duties prevailed. So today... IT WAS ON!!!! I'll post pics of my new and improved nook tomorrow maybe! I'm so darn excited!!
